LIFE Lessons

“Everybody does it anyway… so I think it’s ok to cheat.”

Students now a days have that kind of mentality. For them if most are doing it, why can’t I? Sabi nga e, “everyone cheated at least once in their lifetime.”

But then again what are exams for?

Is it all about passing?

Is it just about your capacity to memorize all the articles and stuff that your teacher throws at you?
The answer is no. Exams of course are intended to measure what the students learn. But then one thing that exams, quizzes, assignments, research works, seat works, and other school stuff measure is your attitude towards your studies.

The reason students are having a hard time during exams is because they don’t know which one is to prioritize. And
because they are ill prepared… they resort to cheating… and creatively call it TEAMWORK.

Is cheating a legal or moral issue? Kapag nahuli it’s a legal issue… kapag hindi.. edi hindi! (kaya wag kayong papahuli.. haha!). More than a legal issue, it’s a moral issue. After all, in cheating, it’s you who’s cheating you.

Life is like an exam… it’s not all about perfection… it’s about excellence. You don’t need to get a perfect score to be excellent, coz when you do the things you’re supposed to do… and gave it your best… there’s nothing to regret and be ashamed of.

So instead of procrastinating and whining… start things up! So in the end… there’s nothing to regret. Take the troubles as a lesson, and stop blaming the teacher for giving you hard lessons and exams, you deserve those lessons if you want to succeed in life.

Just a reminder… :)
